I had my first paper today, so I shall blog about my experience.
First thing that you guys should know: ALL (ok most) exams here are conducted at the Caulfield racecourse. Specifically, in the box facing the race course. Today, I had mine in the restaurant. As Cheryl puts it, its strangely romantic because of the dim lights! In fact, they actually put our papers on counters with plates on it. So yup its really a restaurant ok!
Another thing you guys should know: the exam hall stretch so far, if you stood at one end and waved to me, I might think that a crazy person is waving to me. But then again, that wouldn't happen cause you wouldn't be able to see what's happening at the other end anyway.
Even though they are supposedly environmentally friendly here, when it comes to exams, they are horribly hypocritical! Since each segments of the unit is taught by different lecturers, when you answer one question, you're expected to answer them in a new script book. So if you do 4 questions per unit, you actually use 4 script books! AND THIS IS THE COOLEST PART: we put all of our scripts in a big envelope and seal it! So there is NO chance of anyone tampering with it! Awesome right!
