Today, I bumped into my neighbour, and it turned out that he was leaving Melbourne and heading back for home tonight.

I realised that I didn't really get to talk to him much and that it's likely that I won't ever see him again in this lifetime.

Saying goodbyes at the end of this year is going to be tough.
