ISM Easter Camp (10.04.2009) - Part 1

Exams ended yesterday I am freeeee now! So I shall get back to updating about ... Easter camp... even though 2 months have passed. Heh.

I had to overnight at Midge's place because we had to meet up at the church at... 8 am (sucks living in Clayton sometimes). But we had fun buying tonnes of potato chips (Ha Ha, Midge), reminiscing about college and eating rock melon at 1am. I didn't really get to sleep before the camp so just please ignore my dark eye circles in the photos ok?

On the way there.

Because I didn't manage to sleep the night before, I just conked out on the bus and missed out on quite a bit of scenery. Sigh. Thank god for cameras!

So breathtaking right?

If you look closely, you can see cute little sheeps on the hills. EEEeeeeeeeeeeee, so cute!

Our lodge or wtv you call it.

The backyard. Literally.

Was inspired by The Sound of Music.

So serene right? =)

I felt like I was in summer camp. HAHAHA. I was so excited to see them bunk beds that I immediately whipped out my camera.

My lovely team mates. =))). We were called Pimple Pimple Little Star. At least we didn't get constantly constipated or dandy dandruff or curly curry armpit hair ok!

Our first physical activity was to build a shelter. Later, people were to throw water bombs and squirt water at our shelter.

My team's shelter. =P. The organisers cheated anyway. They actually ripped it open to wet people. Ah well, at least we had fun. Some teams did not even build a shelter. They just stood there waving a flag. They certainly do have quite a sense of humour.

Munny. HAHAHAHA. Whenever someone said the word "la" they were fined. This rule really brought out the worst in people. They kept trying to conning us into saying this word. Like "read your t-shirt!". " uh... Fila?". Gotcha!

My team lost on the first day in terms of having the least moolahs but since someone boo-ed, the camp spokesperson asked the rest to vote and see if we should get the winning prize instead (chocolate fondue and suckao with jazz music playing in the background). We got it, and here I was with my first suckao. =P.

This is Rong Xiu. =). She's damn sweet la. =)

We had a campfire out in the cold and we were even given marshmallows! Omg this guy was warming his marshmallow then he turned around and stuck the marshmallow on my pants instead. T____T. Dude, watch where you're turning la!

Will leave you with a few gorgeous photos of my camp site. Second installment should be up soon, if I am willing to sacrifice more sleeping time. Cause there's just so many bloody things to do but the holiday's too bloody short. =(.

The skies here are so amazingly purple!
